Before You Make a Choice . .

Choices are inevitable in life and we are excellent at making them, however, we don’t accept the consequences. Everything we face in life, whether pleasant or distasteful is the result of choices we have made. We tend to blame others without looking at the root cause and we choose what we feel is convenient now, neglecting its effect on our future. It is a lifetime choice in fact.

“Everything in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, make a different choice.”

Choices appear in our journey like the turns that lead to different destinies and each have its own experience. There is no such thing as wrong or bad choices, there is only good ones in fact, since they all come with great learnings even the painful ones.

The Stacking Stones is an excellent metaphor, and in order to build a sculpture that represents your true identity, you need the artist’s touch, you need to be patient, balanced, and have a peace of mind, and definitely big choices that represent the solid base stone of the structure.

The moral of the story is that before you make a choice, remember that you are the designer of your life, always play big, be courageous, make big choices at the early stages but wise ones in the advanced level, to help you building a stronger and bigger sculpture that last and resist.

  1. I feel good about the decisions that I am making. I may not always know exactly what I need to do, however, my intuition has a way of always making itself known

  2. Well said… The choices are important indeed and we must think through our beliefs based on values (baselines) to choose and get the results what we want if not we will NOT be making the choices rather choices will make us…. Kaunain Shahidi
