Three different words yet they are interrelated. Writing and posting during a tough time was a bit challenging, I admit, however, sharing, caring and advising can be a small voice added to millions of articles and videos spread during this period.
While I am going to mention these three different common tips, I am going to emphasize on their interdependent. One of them is not enough, 2 of them are not, all combined together can have a tremendous effect.
1- I have mentioned in my previous article The Elephant Rider, that controlling your mind is your own responsibility and no one else. Control your thoughts and your fears in order to stay aware of the actions that you need to take to keep going during the challenges and circumstances that you have no control over. Staying positive can be achieved by doing certain rituals, meditation, prayers, for instance or some fitness activities that do not require equipments, it is for the sake of keep you moving and keep your mind busy with what really matter and important to go through.
2- Stay healthy is the action. The body is the carrier of the soul and mind, and without a proper care, it will collapse under the heaviness of any virus whether it is physical or mental; carrying a good healthy diet is vital. Listen to your body and don’t feed it with junk food just for the sake of feeling full.
3- Stay safe is the result therefore! You can’t be safe only by staying away from others. You need to do what is required and to take care of yourself to be willing to take care of others. You need to keep yourself busy and invest in your time, instead of waiting for miracles to happen.
Read more, workout more, learn new skills, plan for the next two to three months, stay away from news. And finally, be grateful for the little things you have and things you have taken for granted, stay optimistic.
